Androidify App - Make Android Your Own


Androidify, available free from Android Market, lets you take the little green Android, and turn it into yourself, your friends, your family, anyone! Stretch it , shrink it, add a hoody, style its hair, throw on some shades, or even give it a parrot and a pirate hat. Arrrgh!

Once you've made your personalized Android, you can share it with your friends, set it as a photo in your contact book, or use it in some inventive way we haven't thought of yet. Have fun, and we can't wait to see what you come up with!

Starting today, Google Instant Previews is available on mobile for Android (2.2+) and iOS (4.0+) devices across 38 languages. Similar to the desktop version of Instant Previews, you can visually compare search results from webpage snapshots, making it easier to choose the right result faster, especially when you have an idea of the content you’d like to see.

Google Game Developer Central

Google Game Developer Central provides an overview of Google products and services that are particularly relevant to game developers. You’ll be able to explore different platforms like Chrome, learn about technologies such as GWT, WebGL and HTML5, and check out monetization options like AdMob.

This is just the first iteration of Google Game Developer Central. In the next few months, Google plan to add additional content to make this an even better resource for all game developers.

Check In with Google Latitude


Check in with Google Latitude. Update Google Maps in Android Market and then join Latitude from the main menu to start checking in at the places you go.

- Check in at places such as restaurants to let friends know you're there.
- Get automatically checked out when you leave.
- Turn on automatic check-ins at places you choose or check-in notifications in Latitude's settings.
