• Polling place locations
• Registration instructions
• Ballot information
• State and local election office contact information

The Election Center Data Manager will guide you through the process of uploading and validating your information. After receiving your information, Google will display election information to your voters through our Maps application.

Google Goggles now available on iPhone in Google Mobile App

Searching with Google on your mobile phone can be an eye-opening experience. Now your phone’s camera can even help to find out more about the world around you.

Back in December Google introduced Google Goggles on Android: it lets you search by taking pictures. Google announced that Goggles is now a feature of Google Mobile App for iPhone. Google Mobile App already lets you speak your queries, and it can also use your phone’s location to give you more relevant search results.

Google launched a new website: Quick Tour - Google TV

Google TV is a new way to think about TV: it’s a platform that combines your current TV programming and the open web into a single, seamless entertainment experience.

Google also launched a new website, Quick Tour - Google TV (http://www.google.com/tv/), that provides more information about these apps and all of the other great features of Google TV.

Chromabrush

Open source version of the Chromabrush application, which is hosted at http://www.chromabrush.com.

Chromabrush is a sample painting application written using the latest HTML5 technologies. It is intended to be a demonstration of how HTML5 can be used to create a rich web app, but is not intended as a production tool. Therefore some features are limited or not optimized fully for a production setting.

Because this is a technical demonstration of what is possible to create when using cutting-edge features, less effort has been put into making the application work on all available browsers. Currently, only the dev channel of Google Chrome is supported.

Google URL Shortener Gets a Website

Google are giving goo.gl its own website (http://goo.gl/).

• Stability: Google have had near 100% uptime since our initial launch, and we’ve worked behind the scenes to make goo.gl even stabler and more robust.
• Security: Google have added automatic spam detection based on the same type of filtering technology we use in Gmail.
• Speed: Google have more than doubled our speed in just over nine months.

To access the new website and start taking advantage of these improvements, simply type “goo.gl” in your web browser and hit enter. There you’ll find a simple interface where you can quickly shorten a URL.

If you sign-in to your Google Account, you’ll see a list of URLs you’ve shortened in the past. Click the “details” link next to any of shortened URL and you’ll find public, real-time analytics data, complete with traffic over time, top referrers, and visitor profiles. This can be a great way to better understand who’s interested in your links, how they’re finding them and when they’re reading.

Android Market update: More Countries, More sellers, More buyers

Effective now, developers from 20 more countries can now sell paid apps on Android Market. Additionally, over the next 2 weeks, users in 18 additional countries will be able to purchase paid apps from Android Market.

Support for paid application sales is now expanded to developers in 29 countries, with today’s additions of Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland and Taiwan.

In addition, Android Market users from 32 countries will be able to buy apps, with the addition of Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, and Taiwan. No action is necessary if you have targeted your paid apps to be available to “All Locations” and would like to launch in these additional countries. If you have not selected “All Locations” and would like to target these additional countries, or if you have selected “All Locations” and do not want to launch your apps in these additional buyer countries, please visit the Android Market publisher site regularly over the next two weeks to make the necessary adjustments as the new buyer countries launch.
